In real life, I live in Southern California with my husband and teach astronomy at Long Beach City College in Long Beach, CA. I wish I had a superhero secret identity, but mostly I just fantasize about life as a photo journalist and travel, science, and science fiction writer. A girl can dream, right?

I got this domain years ago, when I thought I might do freelance web design. Of course, I've never had the time to really devote myself to it. And there's also the fact that, though I'm good with code, I really have no artistic ability at all. My husband is artist but he's never been a freelancer either! Guess it's just not the life for us. So what you see here is the best that I can do.

I maintain a website in honor of my late brother Neal L. Fredericks, who was a talented cinematographer. I have given up updating it in favor of a memorial Facebook page.
